Believe It So You Can See It

purpose Dec 24, 2021

This is a summary of my latest video.  If you’d rather watch that, you can do it here.

I love pulling cards.  It’s a practice that anyone can do, it requires no specific skill or knowledge, and it’s easy and quick to do.  I use it just about every day, but I rarely talk about it.  One of my favorite decks in Sacred Rebels by Alana Fairchild.  Whatever card I pull, it ALWAYS speaks to my current situation.  I tend to pull the same couple of cards over and over again – probably until I learn the lesson or heed the messagešŸ˜€!

One of the cards I pull all the time is number 18 -- Spirals of Manifestation.  The message is that something is coming into being, even if it doesn’t look like it, even if the path seems to go in spirals.  But, this message also says “Forget about believing it when you are seeing it!  Any old soul – or young soul – can do that!  You are a bigger, braver, more ancient soul.  You have enough chutzpah so that you can see it sooner, bigger, and brighter. . . all is unfolding perfectly whether you feel it right now or not.”

Now I don’t know about you, but sometimes, it can be tough for me to see it through, and believe it so I can see it.  But, when I’m able to do it – because I KNOW deep inside that it’s coming or because it’s just that important to me, it always comes at the perfect moment.

We don’t have control over just about anything, but we CAN control how we respond to our circumstances.  Everything IS working out perfectly, in divine timing and order, and we can simply enjoy the ride.

So, next time you’re feeling down about a current situation in your life – whether that’s a new job you’re hoping to get, a broken relationship, or even the death of someone you hold dear – THINK before you respond.  You can choose to just wait and see or hope for the best, OR you can choose to believe it so you can see it.  I know which one I’m choosing.  How ‘bout you?

All my life, no matter what change I’ve experienced, I’ve been able to use journaling to remember who I am, begin to understand what I can learn from this change, and how my experience can help other people going through something similar.  Get my free prompts, “Journaling for Answers,” and start finding your own answers within.
